University of Tulsa's department of media studies chair and associate professor, Dr. Mark Brewin, says that "one vote is unlikely to ever make a difference." However, he goes on to say, "when groups of people decide that their vote matters they are likely to sway an election."

TUTV's host, Jack, sat down with Dr. Brewin to discuss the importance of voting and other elements he discusses in his book, "Celebrating Democracy: The Mass-Mediated Ritual of Election Day."
